Viswatma Vidya Mandir, the brain child of Paramahansa Swami Sri Satyaprajnananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj forms a distinct mile stone in the journey towards resuscitation of Gurukul tradition. Pujyapad Sri Swmijee says, “Education is the life line of civilization” hence he has founded “Viswatma Vidya Mandir” at Balangir on 10thSeptember 1995 which aims at providing modern education entwined with spiritual wisdom .The physical, mental, psychological, scientific and spiritual development of students is the basic approach of vidya mandir in which presently near about 1700 students are studying in different branches of vidya mandir located on different parts of Odisha. The residential school (Avasik Gurukul) has already been given effect to and 108 students are residing in Viswatma Vidya mandir, Ananda niketan (Head Quarter) premises.
"Viswatma Vidya Mandir" is registered under the Govt. of Odisha Board of secondary education. Here the students are not only focuses on academic activities but also learn other activities like yoga, Paranayam, music, dance, painting and other co-curricular activities which can help them develop as a complete human being.
The real motto of the Vidya mandir is to import man making education to the students who in future will come out as able and noble citizens in the service of humanity.
